Mission Statement:  To assist the U.S. citizens of "Urban America" in learning the skills, knowledge, and attitude needed to shoot, move, and communicate effectively.

Vision Statement:  The URA wants to help the "Urban American Citizen" learn the skills needed for self defense and survival by providing, to its members and associates, access to experienced instructors and practitioners in a variety of disciplines.
